Submersible UVC
Submersible UVC lamps have a big advantage compared to conventional UVC units: no pressure loss. These lamps can be used in filter tanks so the water can pass without any resistance/pressure loss. Note: the UVC radiation range is limited (dependant on i.e. the water clarity) so only a part of the water flowing by is treated. The user himself is responsible for the dangers of exposure to UVC radiation to the eyes. Use the supplied safety glasses and/or a safety switch that automatically switches the lamp off when you have access to the lamp.

The submersible UVC is easy to install with a Ø32mm table duct tank connector. A Ø43mm hole is sufficient to mount this connector (1¼” male threaded). This connector can cover a wall thickness of 42mm. The plastic end of the lamp has a 32mm diameter so you can use 32mm pipe clips to mount the lamp in a tank. Total length of the lamp (40 & 75 watt) is 100cm. The T5 lamp has a 9000 hours lifespan and a 25.000 microwatt output.
The lamps are supplied with 10 meters of cable and a connector for the electronic ballast. The complete lamp with quartz sleeve, and cable (= replacement set) must be replaced at the end of the lamp’s lifetime, since the unit comes in a waterproof housing.
