The filter guarantees a constant, uninterrupted flow, which is essential for keeping the enormous 350 m³ volume of water continuously in motion. A powerful 5-bar stainless-steel rinse pump automatically cleans the 120-micron screen panels. During this process, the drum motor rotates the filter, ensuring that the entire screen surface is cleaned. The collected debris falls into a waste trough and is discharged through a separate drain line. To ensure effective removal of debris from the trough, the system is equipped with an additional trough-flushing feature, effectively preventing the build-up of waste.
One of the biggest challenges for a large, open pond exposed to full sunlight is controlling algae blooms and suspended algae. To ensure the water remains healthy and crystal clear, the technical installation was equipped with the most powerful unit in our UV range: the AquaForte Buster UV-C 140W (SB397).
